Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account data from Google Sign-In: Your Google account ID and email address
• Profile data you choose: Display name
• Content you create or upload: Recipes, ingredients, instructions, tags, ratings, notes, shelves, and any recipe images
• Import sources: URLs you submit, and files/images you upload for recipe import
• Sharing data: Who you share recipes/shelves with, and public share links
• Technical data for security/operations: Login timestamps, IP address, user agent

How We Use Information

We use your information to:

• Authenticate you and keep you signed in
• Store and display your recipes, notes, shelves, and shares
• Process imports (URL/HTML/PDF/image) and generate tags using Google Gemini
• Administer credits and purchases

Sharing and Third-Party Services

We share data only with service providers needed to run the app:

• Google OAuth for authentication
• Google Gemini for recipe extraction and tagging
• Google Cloud Storage for uploaded images and import files
• Stripe for payments (we do not store card numbers)
• Our database/hosting providers (e.g., Turso) store app data on our behalf

When you share a recipe or shelf, or make one public, that content (and your display name, if shown) becomes visible to the recipient or anyone with the public link. Notes are private by default unless you mark them public.

Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for login sessions. We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.

Data Retention

• Account and content data are kept while your account exists
• Demo accounts and their data are deleted after approximately 24 hours
• Pending import files may be removed after approximately 30 days or when you delete/discard them

Your Choices

• You can edit your display name
• You control what you share or make public
• You can request account/data deletion by contacting us
